Coal burning grates coal quality requirements
1. Moisture content.
Certain moisture can help burn. The amount of water added to the coal should be determined according to the particle size composition of the coal. The more fine the powder, the more the water should be added, but the amount should be increased. At the same time, it should be evenly added, and the penetration time should be 7~8h.
2. Granularity.
The particle size of the coal has a great influence on the operation of the Coal burning grates. In order to improve boiler combustion efficiency, save coal and reduce environmental pollution, measures should be taken to screen coal of less than 6mm for power generation pulverized coal boilers, and coal of more than 6mm for chain grate boilers.
3. Calorie.
In general, the reduction in heat generation reduces the efficiency of the boiler. When the calorific value of the coal received by the base is less than 16.50 MJ/kg (i.e., 4 000 kcal/kg), it is difficult to burn the coal on the Coal burning grates.
4. Adhesive
The coal with strong cohesiveness is softened and melted by the high temperature radiation in the furnace to form plate-like coking, which is very unfavorable for the chain furnace.It is best to use coal with a medium cohesiveness.
